HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!!

Does anyone out there remember a post back in April explaining how Peiwei knocked her two front teeth up into her gum line? Well those teeth abscessed and they need to be extracted. The two front teeth are dying and the dentist wants them out. If that isn't bad enough. She may need the teeth next to them pulled and she might still have permanent damage to her adult teeth. Can you imagine a 17 month old getting both front teeth pulled out. What a fun day that will be. It is to risky to totally sedate her so they will relax her, numb her gums, and out those teeth come. I am very worried about how this will affect her speech and eating not to mention how will her adult teeth and the rest of her baby teeth come in. Oh yea, and there is that totally vain side of me. My baby will be toothless until at least kindergarten. What if she is not cute anymore? CRW's Dad is still living with us and he has decided to start calling her Bubba.

Then there is Lulu who needs three teeth pulled in two weeks. At least those teeth are loose. And she is almost 10 so she should handle it a little better even though she is scared to death.

Red needs a consult with an Orthodontist because she has a messed up mouth of teeth. Can anyone hear the money falling. Hopefully after everything is said and done they will have a beautiful mouth of teeth when they are adults.

Should I be Offended?

I thought I would share some funny things the girls said recently.

Lulu was on the computer the other day playing a game. Lulu was having trouble figuring out the game so I thought I would help. It was taking me a second to figure it out myself. I guess I was taking to long because Lulu says, "Mom when is Dad going to be home because lets face it you and me put together are just not as smart as Dad." For the record everyone I figured out the game just fine.

Red: "Mom I want to go to Arizona on my mission because Dad has been there. That would be a good place to go on my mission."

Mom says: "Red you know Dad went to Japan on his mission don't you mean you want to go there?"

Red: "Nah, I think actually I want to go to North Dakota that would be really great."
I am glad she is planning ahead. No offense but, North Dakota Red.

Never a dull moment in my house.

Thank You

This January the girls and I decided to take our annual summer trip back home. We have visited every summer since we moved. This last December the kids started to forget their Aunt and Uncle's names and their cousins names. I got worried that this would be permanent without a serious visit back home. So the plan was set and we began to save. I thought we would not be able to take the trip because of $$$. But, with the help of my parents we were able to save a lot of money by using their car and staying with them. Thank You Dad and Mom.

This year we were able to be there and have a lot of exciting things going on at the same time. My brother and his family from back east were there at the same time we were. I have not seen his family in over three years, Thank You "S" for coordinating our trips. My brother's youngest child we had not had the chance to meet in person. My kids and his kids acted as though they were the best of friends. They haven't seen each other in so long but, that didn't seem to matter at all.

Then my Dad had his retirement party. Which turned into an all day celebration. The girls are still talking about how fun This is the Place Monument was. Dad you will get a kick out of this. Lulu has decided to order the Pot Roast "Next Time". Red is gloating that her sister should have listened to her. I think Red is your new buddy. You bought her a treat and you were smart enough to order the same thing she did. Oh yea, if my girls start a water fight inside the house I am blaming you.

Then my youngest sister blessed her baby. Thanks KIA for all the wonderful memories. We are excited to see you and your family in November. The girls said this was the best trip ever! I think it was because there were so many cousins to play with all day. I wish I had some great pictures but I forgot the camera and didn't think to have CRW mail it to me.

And last but certainly not least there were sleepovers with aunt "P" and the Alpine slide was a blast thanks for going with me and the girls. Oh yea, and we can't forget the movie we went to Hey skinny butt are you still scared?

Thank You Kim for letting us use your pool. And to all the friends we saw and spent time with, "Thank You", for being such good friends - we had a blast. We ended the trip by bringing a friend back with us on the plane. She stayed with us until her Mom got here for the weekend. We have been on vacation for over three weeks and now with just two weeks left until school starts anyone want to play?

Mouse is Playing Again . . .

My mother invited me to the coast this weekend while the family is away playing; she was desperate to get out of the city's heat sooo . . . We visited all her favorite places down south, in return she had to be my model. We visited foggy forests, rocky coasts with great vistas, and of course the beach houses were to be envied in every sense of the word for their beautiful locals. I found out where the best pastries in the state are made - the 'Green Salmon', along with the best hot chocolate. We will have to plan a get away there when you get back R-, and we can stay in the little house on the cliff . . . I wish! -CRW

Garden of Eden . . .

For R's- birthday this year she requested that it be spent just hanging out with her family. We ran to the outlet mall and did a little shopping spree at Nike and Adidas, and then drove south into the country side to try and find a local garden that I thought would be picturesque and fun to see. The whole drive was very beautiful - fields of sun flowers, wheat, berries (all kinds); arrived at the garden and was not disappointed in it being a scenic back drop for a picnic. Dinner at a seafood restaurant finished the day. Happy Birthday Lover! -CRW

Rub-a-Dub Girls in a Tub . . .

We have had quite the adventures the last few weeks, trying to fill the weekends with as much activities as possible. Last Friday was spent building sandcastles at the beach, while July 4th was spent hiking some trails that gave us some great views of some waterfalls. This weekend we went hiking to some natural hot springs in the area. As usual the hikes are always beautiful, green, and in forests that make you feel small - that the length of your life is very short indeed compared to the trees that your hiking through. The hike ends in a series of wood bath houses that are open to nature and feed by some hot springs - a natural jacuzzi, and just as hot. The kids loved it! Wish you were all here to share. -CRW
