A Mom
Some friends and family have been calling me out lately that I do not post enough. I am trying to turn over a new leaf and post more often. However, I feel my life is to boring and I am overwhelmed as it is trying to keep up with "Life." Then there is that nasty little secret I have... I am technology handicapped. If I was not married to a tech type of guy I wouldn't know how to do email. So I am going to try to use this as a personal glimpse into my diary and I will post more of my thoughts. So sorry the good times have come to an end. J/K I have finally figured out how to post pictures, I think. Then I will maybe move on to more complicated things.
I know all things are PeiWei right now but I spend so much time during the day with her that is what is on the brain. Lulu and PeiWei and I were playing hide and seek the other day. Lulu and PeiWei would hide under the blanket and I would hide and they would come and find me. The first time we played this game PeiWei would come from out of the blanket and say "I need a Mom" I would start laughing because my first thought was would any Mom do? After several games Lulu would say "Let's go find Mom" PeiWei would answer "Where'd a Mom go?" During the game I kept thinking where are all those other Mom's she is talking about. To Funny

Shoes

Well I am a little slow with this post. I found a picture of PeiWei's birthday presents and thought I would share. She is a girl who loves her shoes. The sad thing is she has two more pairs of shoes for her birthday from Aunt P and Grandpa G that didn't make it into this picture. Is anyone else out there having a hard time keeping up with life? I swear every time I think OK now I can breath there is a million in one things waiting to be done.
After surviving last week I hope never to repeat it again. 1 with a sinus infection. 4 throwing up. 1 with diarrhea. 1 Mom exhausted trying to keep up. Today 3 extra kids to take care of all day. I don't know how you Mom's survive with 5 or more kids. And last but not least 2 Missionaries to feed.

Happy Birthday PeiWei !!!

It is hard to believe my baby girl is now two years old. What a wonderful two years it has been. She is the most charming, delightful little girl. Everyone adores her when they meet her. This weekend she and I traveled together to SLC for our monthly trip for the last time. Now that she is two I will have to buy her a ticket to take her so I will now be solo in SLC. Since this is her last monthly trip to SLC my family had an early Birthday Party for her. On Saturday friends and family came and shared cake and ice cream. I will post those pictures later. There were to many cute pictures.
Today we said Happy Birthday PeiWei and she replied "To Me". Then she clapped her hands and said yeah. Tonight when we asked her what she wanted for dinner she said chicken and LaLa which is water. We will do another birthday party for CRW's family on Saturday. After dinner she came home and watched one of her favorite movies which is Tinkerbell. She opened her present from Mom and Dad which is the new PJ's she is wearing in the picture above. The picture of the cake is the cake we eat in SLC with my family and friends.
She had her well check at the doctor today. When we pulled up to the Doctor's office PeiWei started to say over and over "ouchie" in the car. I thought how could she possibly remember her last well check visit where she got a few shots. It must be her lucky day no shots. She played peek-a-boo with Dr. G and said "bye" and waved to all the staff and as she left yelled "see yea". Kia just so you know here are her numbers, tell Claire bear her cousin is moving up on her. Wt: 22 Ibs 6 oz 20%-25%, Ht:35 3/4 in 90%-95%, Head 49 1/2 cm 90%-95%. So she still is tall and skinny with a big head.
And yes Aunt P she is still wearing the skirt and boots you gave her on Saturday. I will strip them from her tomorrow. I know they are her Pretty's but enough is enough. She is healthy happy and the perfect little two year old. Everything a mother would want in a two year old. Best kid ever. What a great day!
Love You

Hair Ball Anyone?
Well CRW found out the draw back of being surrounded by to many females with long, thick hair. He has announced the girls need a hair cut and it needs to be above the shoulders! LuLu looked at her Dad and said "Yea, Right " This weekend we were bathing the girls and the drain was running slow so I asked CRW if he could get the drain cleaned out for me. The above picture is what came out of the drain. The scary thing is, this is the girls bathroom that they share. This is just the two of them and all their glorious hair. Pei Wei and I are in another drain.
On Saturday I go to a lift class at 8:30 a.m. at the gym, when I got back the kids had cleaned the house, sorted the laundry, and put the first load in the washer. CRW had them vacuum the whole house, the girls were disgusted with the amount of hair they picked up with the vacuum. LuLu was extremely upset that the amount of hair and dust had plugged the vacuum and CRW had to take it apart and clean the filters. Maybe the girls and I have to much hair. We could use all that hair on the floor and transplant it to Pei Wei she is lacking in hair as she approaches her 2nd Birthday.
All in all it was a great weekend sunny, warm, blue skies, and we spent the weekend taking walks and at the park. Spring is here two weeks early everything is in bloom. That means I am breaking out the Claritin. LuLu is getting ready for her dance recital in June and Red will have a piano recital in June also.

I must need more sleep?
I think I have hit an all time low! When I was growing up I would say the wrong word in place of another word thinking I had used it correctly. For example instead of saying that guy has cool cuff links I would say handcuffs. Get the idea? Well my family and friends growing up always got a good laugh out of my slips. Often the words come out wrong but in my head they were right so I was not sure of what came out of my mouth. Well this happened the other night.
Red is practicing the piano and she is taking forever and not staying on task. In my frustration I blurt out " Could you just get pregnant!" My eight year old daughter looks up in horror at me and has the most confused look on her face. CRW yells "What did you just say?" must have been a rhetorical question because as soon as I answered: "Could you just practice" he says "NO you didn't". When I realize what I have said I start to back pedal, Fast. Let's just say it was a very embarrassing, awkward moment. I guess I will not get Mother of the year award.
