Red has worked hard practicing piano this last school year for the first time, so without any further explanation I present - Red, playing 'By the Brook'.

Memorial Day . . .

'Hello Darkness' Iris
As summer starts we have decided to get out as much as possible on the weekends. Memorial Day was our start in an attempt to break our rut of staying home due to the rain and ventured off into the country side to visit a local iris farm. A field of irises is beautiful but this farm knows that to really show case their flowers why not plant a flower garden that people can enjoy while shopping . . .
Flower gardens are prime opportunities for photography, and I brought my camera to remember the day and pass the time. The girls got in the spirit of the shoot and borrowed my camera half the time to snap their own pictures.
After getting home later that afternoon I decided to give the girls their first Photoshop lesson, so that they could play with the pictures they had taken. Both took to the program and have been photoshopping ever since. They both are really good and will probably start posting their own works of art very soon.Saturday, May 15, 2010
Disneyland . . .
We had a blast with my sister's family in Disneyland! I left CRW and PeiWei back at home so the two older girls and Mom could get some serious R&R. The park was great not a single line to speak of. It was sunny, warm, and bright blue skies. We swam at night and watched movies and ate popcorn in bed. I will miss my two nephews and sister. T it was great hanging out with you too. The girls still speak of how Aunt Kia screamed like a little girl on the Tower of Terror. Pretty sad when your five year old nephew goes on a scary ride before his very old Mom has enough guts. Way to go Little man!

I think my nephew is less than thrilled to be there in such a girly environment.

Cheap Fun . . .
Lulu and Red were playing around with the computer and created a number of videos and pictures with Photo Booth. Of course mom and dad found the files, found them hilarious; embarrassment worthy, and decided to post one on the web. I'll ask forgiveness later. -CRW

A Mom
Some friends and family have been calling me out lately that I do not post enough. I am trying to turn over a new leaf and post more often. However, I feel my life is to boring and I am overwhelmed as it is trying to keep up with "Life." Then there is that nasty little secret I have... I am technology handicapped. If I was not married to a tech type of guy I wouldn't know how to do email. So I am going to try to use this as a personal glimpse into my diary and I will post more of my thoughts. So sorry the good times have come to an end. J/K I have finally figured out how to post pictures, I think. Then I will maybe move on to more complicated things.
I know all things are PeiWei right now but I spend so much time during the day with her that is what is on the brain. Lulu and PeiWei and I were playing hide and seek the other day. Lulu and PeiWei would hide under the blanket and I would hide and they would come and find me. The first time we played this game PeiWei would come from out of the blanket and say "I need a Mom" I would start laughing because my first thought was would any Mom do? After several games Lulu would say "Let's go find Mom" PeiWei would answer "Where'd a Mom go?" During the game I kept thinking where are all those other Mom's she is talking about. To Funny

Shoes

Well I am a little slow with this post. I found a picture of PeiWei's birthday presents and thought I would share. She is a girl who loves her shoes. The sad thing is she has two more pairs of shoes for her birthday from Aunt P and Grandpa G that didn't make it into this picture. Is anyone else out there having a hard time keeping up with life? I swear every time I think OK now I can breath there is a million in one things waiting to be done.
After surviving last week I hope never to repeat it again. 1 with a sinus infection. 4 throwing up. 1 with diarrhea. 1 Mom exhausted trying to keep up. Today 3 extra kids to take care of all day. I don't know how you Mom's survive with 5 or more kids. And last but not least 2 Missionaries to feed.
