Family Activity Update . . .

The kids are back in school this week. The holiday decorations are all put away, and life is returning back to the more normal routine of work, school, and church callings. Which by the way is great since our new church meeting time is 11-2 instead of last year's 3-6 time slot. With this change we do have to pack snacks for the kids since we don't get to eat lunch until 2 in the afternoon. Nothing we can't handle though. The weather is rainy, but to be expected this time of year in the Northwest.

Red has started her swimming lessons again, and loves her new teacher. There is only one other girl in the class, so Red feels like she is getting private swimming lessons almost. Swimming is her favorite. She never shows any reservation about getting wet. Is always the first person in the pool, and a showoff to the other students by going all the way under the water when their looking.

Lulu is still dancing, and still asking if she can stop. She wants to quit because she dislikes one of her teachers who is very strict and expects the students to listen, and apply what he teaches them. She just thinks he is mean. We just smile and keep telling her she has to keep at it for a few more years. She has no problem going any other time during the week, only when that teacher is teaching.

Other than that R- just works at getting through the day. Living from shot to shot, and doing her calling in the church.

I go to work . . . I'm thinking we need to do something about this routine. It is still raining by the way. -CRW

Was that Valentines Day REALLY 10 YEARS AGO?!!! Oh my goodness...I can't believe that! It's really random that you reminded me of that...just yesterday I was going through some old pictures and found some of the snowball fight we had on that trip. Remember?!
