Watching Fireworks . . .

As you can see by the vacant expressions in the photo the fireworks we were looking at, on our friends driveway, were pretty mesmerizing.

- We had a very fun 4th of July. We took the girls to 'Ratatouille' (very good show for everyone) first thing in the morning and then went to lunch. In the evening we hooked up with some couples from the ward and went to a park where we ate, played Frisbee and soccer, and in general ran the kids ragged (the adults too). By the time we got to fireworks that evening everyone was pretty tired. We enjoyed the show though. Both families had bought a bunch of fireworks, so our little show lasted about 50 minutes - rivaling even the big shows for length. It was also the warmest day of the year to that point - we hit 90 degrees, which made the cooling evening perfect.

The girls have spent the last 2 days in the pool to bet the heat, both are getting to be good swimmers. -CRW

What a pretty picture! R-Dawg looks pretty wasted. What time did you have this fireworks display...1am? I'm sure those must have been illegal fireworks. If homeland security is screening this blog just know that the Beehive chapter had nothing to do with the purchase of these fireworks! -J-Dawg
