Dance Recital . . . 'The Carnival of Animals'

Last week as the girls issued in summer: with the end of school, the Portland Rose festival, and a little less rainfall, the girls had their dance recital. They've both been practicing hard the last couple of months in their ballet classes to get ready, attending class every week after school. This culminated in a recital called, 'The Carnival of Animals', in which every class choose an animal to portray in their dance. Red's class were turtles dressed in green suits with shells on their backs, while Lulu's class were elephants, dressed in gray with pink tutus and large ears. -CRW
